Meditation

 

A meditation class is available for those students interested in the non-physical teachings that emerged from the Shaolin Monastery, and the Daoist teachings that compliment Yin Style Ba Gua Zhang.

Meditation is a technique and process that is learned. It is the practice of sitting quietly allowing time for the mind to become still and observing the process as it happens. The practice of meditation gives value to our life by creating better health for both mind and body. In this class we also practice some qigong to harmonize the body and breath, open the chest and flow the qi. More detailed instruction is in the student handbook. You should speak with Sifu Makaris before attending this class.
